A variety of factors are involved with depression, such as, biological differences – people who have depression have various physical changes in their brains. The significance is still not known, but eventually is one of the factors. Hormones – changes in the body’s balance of hormones are sometimes involved in triggering or causing depression. Changes in hormones can happen with pregnancy or from thyroid problems, or menopause or any other condition. Inherited traits – sometimes depression is also common among the relatives or people who are in relation.
